2009 is looking good for buyers, with an abundance of quality villas on the market. Several new developments have emerged and several more on the planning stage as the property scene continues to grow. The introduction of new roads to the Bukit has opened up access for plenty of land and we have some new options on the market direct from local land owners with attractive pricing and panoramic ocean view vistas. Recently the Bukit area has gained a higher profile by playing host to many regional and international events. The Asian Beach Games of 2009 was opened at GWK, a popular event venue in Jimbaran. The games brought athletes from across Asia to compete in over two dozen disciplines including volley ball, water polo, dragon boat racing, and martial arts. The hang gliding event took place right here on the Bukit's wind swept cliffs. Later on, Pecatu hosted the Indonesian Open golf tournament, a weeklong event bringing championship golf to our backyard. The tournament coincided with the launching of the KLAPA club, an entertainment mega-center with disco, lounge, three restaurants, and convention area. The Bukit is no longer the backyard of Bali.

INVESTMENT WAVE
The south coast continues to boom in land sales with new infrastructure paving the way for development. Electricity poles are being erected along the main coast road from Kuta to Selong Belanak and will continue along to Serangan and Torok Aik Belik beaches. The new paved road from Selong Belanak to the new airport is now complete and this beautiful beach area is ripe for development. Land pricing has not caught up with this new infrastructure so be quick. We are marketing a lot of ocean view hill land starting from $2.70 per sq meter which represents great development opportunities and well worth a look.
