Bali and Lombok are gearing up for the upcoming peak season and the signs are there that tourism and property sales will be at the highest level since 2001. Rental returns are higher now than ever before, so choose your location carefully. The Bukit area in Bali, which is the hill area in the south of the island, continues to command the best land sales and as the area develops more and more infrastructure and facilities are moving in. The awakening of the Dreamland development is proving to be a leader in this respect with the new golf course now in operation and the Klapa Club, with its three night spots and two restaurants, providing much needed entertainment. Following on from the opening of the Bulgari Hotel are several very high end villa projects and this trend seems likely to continue over the coming years. Estate Villas vs Stand Alone Villas
Villa construction has gone from strength to strength over the past few years in Bali. Whilst estate developments have dominated sales there are still many 'stand alone' villas on the market. Mainly due to the heavy advertising dollars being spent by developers, often times these villas get overlooked in the market place. Surprising when you consider that as a buyer, you can see and feel exactly what you are buying. Yet many buyers still prefer to buy into a sexy 3D villa rendering and buy off the plan. Ride the Investment Train in Lombok
